Compared to the commercial grade lights (with green wires) I have purchased in local stores, these don't even begin to live up to that description. They consist of tiny relatively dim bulbs mounted on a cheap, very loosely twisted three wire strand. I don't think I would trust them for outdoor use. And although the price on these was reasonable at first, the shipping charges made them an average $10.00 per line. I might add that nowhere on the light sets themselves does the phrase 'commercial grade' appear.March, 2012. When I tried to move the lights to a differnet location, all three lines (which were working when I unplugged them) failed to light at all when I tried to light them in their new location.
